As a senior golfer you may find yourself in the enviable position of playing golf more often than ever before! At Peak Athletics, we have the resources and experience to provide you with programs and coaching that will enable you and your game to thrive season after season. Our work with you starts with a belief that golfers can make significant improvements at any age and is supported with plans that meet you exactly where your needs and abilities are now.
Here are common sentiments shared by senior golfers we are currently working with:
“I want to regain lost distance and lost range of motion.”
Restoring your range of motion and hitting the ball longer again both start with our initial evaluations. We are able to get incredibly precise measurements of how the major joints in your body are turning and moving through the use of world class 3D swing motion captures. This tells us which parts of your body are moving the most and moving the least while you are swinging, which in turn allows us to understand where your body is experiencing the most stress during your swing.
We follow the swing measurements with head to toe tests of your flexibility, balance and strength, which is where we hone in on what parts of your body can make the biggest improvements in your swing.
Everyone is capable of improving. Your evaluation tells you exactly where the improvement needs to start.
“I want to feel stronger at the end of rounds and energized instead of beat up by workouts.”
Playing golf on a regular basis is a great way to spend your time, but sustaining energy throughout a round over multiple rounds throughout a week can be challenging. Your individually tailored plan will address that in two ways. First, as you improve the specific range of motion needed for your game, each individual swing will become more efficient and require less effort, helping you maintain your performance throughout the back nine of each round. Secondly, exercises will be added that strengthen your golfing muscles, so they have more capacity and endurance to handle each round you play during a week.
As a senior golfer, consistency goes further towards your progress than at any other time in your golfing career. To ensure you’re able to both exercise and play golf, the movements and amount of work is chosen to build you up during each session, instead of taxing your body excessively. You will develop confidence, balance and improve your strength and stamina in a way that is sustainable and designed to improve your performance on the golf course every step of the way.
“I have the time to put in to working on my game, but I want to see results.”
Your plan at Peak Athletics includes constant opportunities to measure your progress and continual feedback from coaches who specialize in golf performance. Whether it is getting information on your ball flight and club path from using the golf simulators, learning exactly how to bend and turn using a 3D display system or working with your coach during regularly scheduling check ups, you will be able to see where you are making progress and understand what you need to focus on next to take the next step in improving your game.
You’re ready to put effort and energy into your golf and we work with you on all fronts to make sure that your time spent is meaningful and productive.
You’ve got the opportunity to make incredible progress and we offer a comprehensive, supportive, and enjoyable environment that understands and addresses your specific needs.
Our programs, coaching and facility are designed to help you play better, stay healthy, and enjoy the game to the fullest. We look forward to working with you.
